Benji’s musical journey started when he was seven years old learning the piano before later progressing to playing the drums in his teens. He attained a degree in Music Production in 2008 and began recording local bands in the Leeds/York area whilst also playing in his own band “Pray For Hayden”.

Benji began self-producing his debut solo album “Hopes and Dreams” in spring 2023 following an aggressive period of headaches, tinnitus and hearing issues that galvanised his desire to begin its creation while he was still able. Written and recorded over the two years that followed, the album features elements of synth-pop, synthwave and dance/trance over a deeply personal and emotional 12-track journey that nods to the past and looks to the future with hope.
